The Gaspar - Inspired by Heritage
Introducing The Gaspar
Inspired by the heritage and historic character of the Oreña Adobe in downtown Santa Barbara, The Gaspar is a new handmade lighting design rooted in tradition and thoughtfully updated for today’s homes.
The Oreña Adobe, originally constructed in 1849 and expanded by Don Gaspar Oreña in 1858, remains one of Santa Barbara’s historic adobe landmarks. Located on East De La Guerra Street, the adobe reflects the rich architectural history and Spanish influence that continue to shape the character of Santa Barbara today.
Defined by its clean, tapered silhouette and subtle ornamental detailing, The Gaspar brings a refined architectural presence to exterior spaces while complementing a wide range of home styles. Like all Santa Barbara Lighting Company fixtures, it is handcrafted in Southern California from heavy gauge or stainless steel through our weeks-long handmade process.
From the historic plaques and architectural details that inspired its name to the craftsmanship behind every fixture, The Gaspar reflects the timeless influence of Santa Barbara heritage on our lighting designs today.
